How prices are worked out
1. Completed UK sales only
We record what used bikes and components actually sold for on the UK second-hand market, ignoring asking prices and retail RRP.
2. Filtered for working order
Broken parts, spares or repair, bare frames on complete-bike pages, service kits and empty boxes are removed before calculating the median.
3. Verified state (3+ sales)
When a bike or component has three or more qualifying completed UK sales in the 90-day window, its price is marked Verified.
4. Estimate state (fewer sales)
When a page has only one or two qualifying sales, its price is marked Estimate so you know the sample is small.
